Aquapac headphones with AT PRO - snorkeling

Heras

Hello all!

im planning on using the at pro for snorkeling of course never at places that are below 3m deep. But i would like to use a pair of headphones that are not SO heavy like the ones that are made for detecting.

I looked at some adaptor that lets you use normal headphones with the AT pro. but what would be really nice is to use small underwater headphones like these.

this would be so light and still serve its puropouse perfectly.

but, how could i make the conecction waterproof?

PD: I need them to be light since im gona detect while i travel with bike, so weight is some of the most important issues for me.

You need to purchase an adapter for the AT Pro, then plug your favorite headset and wrap it with this Nashua silicone tape. I have used it in the past when I waterproofed an ACE 150, and had to add an extension cable. Just plug in your headset, then wrap the section of the male & female connector, and you are set to go. This tape worked great! I believe Garrett has an adapter available now too. Give them a call.
