I don't think they are. Different operating frequencies. HH jim tn

The Omega and G2 have different operating frequencies and both can use the 5 x 10 DD. I was thinking about that awhile back and that had me scratching my head.

T2 coils are not interchangeable with anything.

G2 coils are interchangeable with DD coils from the "Fratbros series", F5, and new Gold Bug series. New Gold Bug & G2 machines are designed specifically for DD searchcoils and are not specified for use with concentrics from the Fratbros and F5 series.

Teknetics T2: Uses ONLY the T2-designed search coils. Not interchangeable with other models coils.

Teknetics G2 and Fisher Gold Bug, Gold Bug Pro and Gold Bug Pro DP: The models were all designed to ONLY use the Double-D coils of the 'Greek Series'. I have used the Concentric coils on several and, at times, I got fairly good performance. However, I also noted some weakness in their field performance that was not apparent with the Double-D coils, which are the only ones these models are designed to be used with.

Teknetics Omega, Gamma, Delta and Alpha: These models can use ALL of the search coils Teknetics offers EXCEPT those for the T2. They use the round 8" and elliptical 5
