The Fisher armcuff is really sturdy, thicker plastic with foam pad and arm strap. I bought one for my Shadow X5 and its great. If the one on my Xterra ever breaks that's whats going on it. It has a different mounting hole, so you would have to drill one hole through the pole.

I have never heard of one breaking. But that's doesn't surprise me. It is thin.
