I was at a empty lot where I found a world war 1 metal from {the rock of the Marne} when I looked up the metal on line I found that their was 30,000 dead just on that Island in us solders I thought to my self, being a Marine this metal has to stay in the family.I went to the city and got the records for the land turns out the original homesteder was the name Colegrove in 1860 his son was born in 1888 on that lot he went to ww1 and came back in 1919. Knowing he went through hell and back it took me 4 months of investigation to find the grandson of MR. Colegrove well I found him in salt lake he met me in provo and we exchanged stories when I gave him the metal it was all worth the hard work just to see his face

Another awesome story. Congratulations on another well done deed!

thx guys it just plain feels good to help people and return what they thought they lost if I'm in a park I keep everything cause finding the owner is impossible but if I in a yard I can find the history and give back the past but I keep all the coins and tokens and it just plain fun

I have not searched this site high or low......yet. But, is there a "good deeds" forum on here, I know many other forums I go to, do. How about it, mod's.......NGE
