Hats off to those old detectorists and posting a pic for proof. I was about 10yrs old. Maybe 1974. Loved that Radio Shack berp and dig!

We are about the same vintage, I might even be a few years earlier. I wish I had pics to share but that's the unfortunate part of being the middle child is the lack of photos.
