As I shovelled snow today around the hotel, the snow plow trucks were doing thier thing...

though probably not much of a tip for Steve in SoAZ, pay attention to where snow is being piled...especially from parking lots that are used a lot. One never knows what someone might drop in the lot fumbling for keys in their pockets with gloves on.

So made a mental note where they were piling up the snow at the ends of the lots.

Some nice stuff is found in those piles!

Not often but I was there for the for the Gem show once and it DID snow while I was there. I went into a micky-d's for breakfast and commented on it and the young lady waiting on me told that it had been a long time and that she hadn't seen snow there since " I was knee high to a duck!". Up north we usually say "knee high to a grasshopper", I then began to wonder about those Arizona folks.

Only time I sweat when there is snow is when I have to shovel it or keep pulling the pull start cord on the snowblower until my arm falls off.

Knee high to a grasshopper is how I heard it too.
