Looks like I will be transferring there sometime this summer. Wondering if anyone knows the area. I'm curious if there are a lot of detectorists there, what the laws are like, if its still possible to get on good sites there, etc. Also if there are any local forums. Thanks.
 
Bell, do a google search on metal detecting clubs. I just did and found that there's quite a few. Not sure how close they are to your new area. Good luck, Joe.
