New member
hunted an old farm today, got an assortment, have no clue what the big piece is? Got one injun 1897, 3 wheats, oldest 1912, silver war nickel, junk ring, harmonica reed. And a military button, no backmark so I have no idea on it either. The rosie was from saturday's hunt.

As always .....good finds! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Some neat old finds there. The eagle button dates from 1854 to 1875. The odd large item looks like part of a printing plate. Maybe roll a color over it's high spots, lay a sheet of paper on it & press down to make a print. Steve in so az

Nice bunch of coins youa found. I like that button , that is nice.

Hi Goes4ever; Tat big piece is a John Deere Tractor Plow piece. Dates to 1950's. Value in goo shape about $ 30.00. Yours is a bit worn so about $5.00 - $8.00. The button is a Union Foot Soldiers button in Fine - Very Fine Condition. The shank on back,(important). I is still here and it is straight. So value goes up.Missing or bent value goes down. Value on yours is $40.00 ok. Maybe up to $60.00 because of the shank. That's the first thing we look at.I hope this helps. I'm quoting Boston Region prices ok. Other collectors may give an extra $5.00 but that's it ok. PEACE:RONB Great Finds.

PS : If it had an "A", "B",or "I" it wold be either an Artillery, Brigadier or Infantry Mans Button. No Leter means he was a Recruit. ok. Best Wishes.

that is a printing plate of a farm disc. The eagle button is CW era, and congrats on the old coins.

Nice outing, that is a nice button.
