Found big square nail-2smaller nails,5 bobby pins,1 hair clip, short piece of junk chain, steel ring with pink heart with green specks, small heart with a junk stone, small transistor, small round piece of aluminum,2 holed oval piece that said candies. First coin 2011 zinc 1c. 1974 1c. Got 8" signal-2002 25c. Went to other chip area and got a 52-53 reading to snatch up my first nickel. Last coin was a 10c. Also found a plastic bead and a plastic fingernail ring.
I"ve tested the ATG on gold flakes and nuggets and it works great. Hard to believe how deep the 5x8 DD goes. Also have the 9.5x11 DD. Now all i need is time to get to Gold country.
Great Machine--Good Luck! Ron

Below is an air test using the sniper coil to show the extra depth from the true all metal mode on the AT Gold for various targets.

Congratulations Ron,
I actually prefer and have had better finds using the AT Gold with the 5x8 than using the AT Pro with the 5x8... Dont get me wrong, both are great detectors but personally I Iike the AT Gold better :)
