Last year, actually last hurricane season, we bought a generator which you need if you live in the south. Well, I filled this bad boy up with gasoline, problably over 6 gallons worth. I kept telling myself that I need to drain this thing of gas for winter storage. But I kept procrastinating. Well, as it were, my son is at driving age. So as I checked on the generator today, the tiller, and everything else that runs on gas in the shop. I found none of these machines have gas in them! I left them full, but failed to drain them for storage! My mistake. I asked Bryce did he know where all that gas went? He said he needed gas for the lawn mower. Well I have never seen a push mower that needed 10 gallons of gasoline to fill up. Hmmm, deductive reasoning. "Bryce, do I look like I just fell off a turnip truck? "Well'" he said "I put some in my truck." Now you know, the rest of the story. How can you punish a kid for doing something on the sly that did something you were supposed to do! He benefitted, and did something without being told to help us all here. Go figure. Can't fool an old Cop. We all leared something today. Do your job, and ask first. Some how, from this deceit, we all profited. Why didn't I think of this stuff when I was a kid?
