AT Max performance with concentric coil/s

Seems that most owners use the DD coils and not much feedback on the concentric coils. DD coils are being pushed on most brands currently and perhaps this is the major mindset.
I was wondering if the Garrett Concentric VS DD coils is like the concept Tesoro described.
Concentric coils discriminate better, but are affected by high mineralization...whereas DD coils don't discriminate as well, but not affected by high mineralization.

Anyone care to share their experiences with the concentric coils?

The 6x9 concentric is a very good coil. It gives more consistent TIDs than the DD and falses less on iron. High minerals will impede it quicker than the DD. I have the big 9x12 also but mine is not stable unless sensitivity is kept very low. Garrett has replaced it once but it is the same. It is heavy also.

I have the 12" concentric for my A T Pro. I was in hopes it would get me a inch or so more depth then the stock 11" DD. It doesn't!
It is a smooth running coil, but being mainly a old coin hunter, I hunt in a lot of trash and DD coils do better for target separation....imho. HH jim tn
