AT Pro back from Garrett and rocking my world - :garrett:

A lot of talk on the forum now is about the new "gold" so I thought a short note about my success with the AT Pro this past weekend would be in order.

We had an early snowstorm here in the East and where I am hunting here in Northern Virginia got between 2-6 inches. It all came down on Saturday so I waited until Sunday to get out. The snow did not slow me down and the weather was nothing short of spectacular. Even so the ground was muddy, wet, and worth it. I was out for 5 hours and in that time I found 16 Civil War bullets, three flat buttons, a 1957 Jefferson nickle and, my best find of the day, an 1837 half dime. It has a small hole in it and was probably worn as a necklace pendant for many years. Where it was found is the site of several skirmishes during the Civil War and I would love to know who dropped it, was it a soldier in the midst of an engagement who did not realize he'd lost it until later? A terrific find for me and a good day out with the AT Pro which is performing superbly. Thanks for looking.

Wow! You found more relics in one day than I do in a year!

Nice Finds, Thanks for sharing.
