AT Pro coil choices

Mr. Beard

Going to get the AT Pro and was wondering about the optional concentric coil. I just saw a air test with the DD coil. In my area ( Texas) the soil isn't too bad, and from what I have read the concentric does get better depth in less mineralized soil than the DD.

Would the 9X12 coil be better at the Texas beach and larger areas, or should I stick with the DD??

Yes, the 9"x12" elliptical concentric will be deeper than the 8.5"x11" DD search coil in non-mineralized ground. :wiggle:
Yep! A cocentric search coil is better at the beach than a double D, unless of course, the beach is loaded with black sand. In which case a DD would prevail.
The concentric will also be more sensitive on smaller targets.:detecting:
Best of luck to ya!:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)
