at pro on salt water beach

hello, how does the at pro do in the salt water and on the beach. I mainly want this to hunt the jersey shore area. any info would be a big help.thanks

I use mine here on the Gulf Coast frequently, dry and wet sand and water. Each beach I hunt is different. The more used beaches are much like a well used park, FULL of junk. Junk can sound different on the wet sand and water for the ATP. I have found coins in the water, but find most stuff on the high tide line and dry sand. I've heard you'll find most beyond where the waves break onto shore, but I don't snorkel and ain't that tall. Got my first silver on the high tide line.
