at pro rest ?

rest as in set it down while you are changing the coil???
Could you have meant re-set?

My sleeps on the other side of the bed, I tuck it in every night. Thing sleeps in too much though. I'm sitting here waiting for Mr. Lazy Bones to get out of bed now.

I read, someone posted that you have to do the re-set when you change battery's and change coils on the AT Pro,,,
Talked to a Tech at Garrett and they said that is BS !!!

We need more info, please
Are you saying that everything is ok or do you think there is a problem ???

You have to make sure that you get the connector in all the way,
I tighten the nut and mover the connector around until the nut will not turn anymore,,,
then back off the nut,, to see if the connector is in all the way, then tighten the nut back..
I do not water hunt,, so i removed the o-rings from my coil connector plug,,,and keep them with me when I go hunting..
Be very care full with the pins on the coil and head phone connector,,some have bent or broken them,,,,I am always very care full,
but the other day while changing, one pin got bent a little,,, I always keep the protector caps on my coil connectors.....

Here in central Okla. at the places that I hunt,, GB numbers are + or - from 80.....

Also have had 2 bad coils,,, Garrett was fast to take care of them...
Both coils were new,, a 4.5" super sniper and the stock 8 x 11" ,,,,,in clean places on the ground,, I could not max the Sens.had to stay like 4 bars down and still I could hear noise that sounded like EMI,,, my other coils were fine,,,checked them a several places.....

I hear that Oregon has some bad soil in places,, so the dd coils may be a must...
The 5x8 and the 4.5 are my main coils,, that I use,,,,I have a new 6x9,,,I need to try it as soon as we get a break in the weather...
I have other units,, costing twice as much money as the AT pro,,,,,,but to me,,, I have more fun with the AT Pro....And have made some good finds with the AT Pro,,for me,, the AT Pro works...
Spend the time learning it,,,as with any unit...

Good Luck

I use a sliver sharpie pen to mark the coil and headphone connector plugs (both male and female). Made it lots easier to line up the pins.
