AT Pro warms up the day

44 degrees, wind off the lake at 20, gray, overcast.
Using the Garrett headphones as earmuffs.
Searching a swim beach/picnic area near Granbury, TX.
Trying out new AT Pro with the 5X8 DD coil for the first time.
Experimenting with the different modes. Getting used to it.

Kept finding pennies.

Found 22 pennies in a row along with a lot of trash.
This soil grows into the pennies, had to scrape them off with the Pro Pointer.
Found pennies that had been shot.
I thought 'this economy is really bad! People only have pennies to loose now days!'
Then I thought 'maybe this machine only finds pennies?!'
Then hit a dime then a quarter than a nickel. In 3 hours brought back $1.48. Victory.

Lots of trash, got suckered on smashed aluminum bottle caps - a lot.

Finding and pinpointing with the At Pro is easy - as easy as the ACE 250.
I'm liking it.
Supposed to be warmer tomorrow...

Looks like you got the Atpro smoking to me!

It's good to not let some cold and wind get in the way of a hunt.:detecting: I too often times use those headsets a earwarmers. :)
