Headed to illinois for 3 days of not frozen tundra. Man it was fun, temps were not as nice as they said it was to be but low 40's. So I couldnt complain.
So took the new Garrett AT Pro out for a walk and did find a few coins and lots of iron was at old farm sites from 1830's. The copper coins do not hold up well down in that ground but its still counts. Got a fling eagle cent 1858, Large cent, Indian head penny, Three cent piece 1856, 2 seated dimes 1876 and 1882, and a goodyear button pat 1851 which is the same company that makes tires now.
the flying eagle isnt pictured worn pretty bad but soaking in olive oil
Token is good for 5 cents in trade at a billards hall in illinois
Head to civil war land end of next week so will try to bring something good back.
