AT Pro

Question, saw someone selling an AT Pro and the add said it was sent in for the factory adjustment. What is that? Thanks

There are no user calibration adjustments... Period.

Never heard of "the factory adjustment"

I'd guess perhaps he sent it back because he felt it was not working correctly and perhaps Garrett did make an internal adjustment.

Rest assured, sending it back for adjustments is not a routine activity. The machine does not require "tune ups".

Detectors typically go back when they flat out fail or, Garret may ask you to send it in after you call them and describe a scenario where you think your detector may not be working properly.

It might just have been a going over by Garrett to make sure it is in prime working condition for a sale.
