AT Series as good as the Ace 250 on nickels?

I started my love for this hobby on an ACE 250.
Since then, I've used quite a few detectors.
And none have come close to picking nickels like the ACE 250.
If the ID # didn't move, And I foget the # as it's been so long, it was 5c every time.
Honestly it is probably the the best "turn on and go" coin hunters I've used.

Are AT Series just as "consistent" on coins?

I have to agree with you................................the ACE 250 is one great machine. I put the 9 x 12 concentric coil on mine years ago, and it was my "go to" machine for sports fields. Great depth, great coverage and retained it's sensitivity to tiny targets. Any machine which is hot on nickels is also hot on gold rings.
