ATP Memory Question

New member
Well I am having an old age memory problem and I read the owners manual and can not find the answer so thought I would ask the pros. I use the APT in Pro Mode but when I turn it off and then turn it back on later it is back in Standard Mode. Is that what it is supposed to be doing? Somewhere in my mind I thought it was supposed to remain in Pro Mode. I am not holding the power switch down long enough to go to factory resets...that was my first thought. Just wondering if it is an ATP problem or my memory and mind playing tricks on me. Thanks for the help.

My Blackie does some weird things so there is no use in me reading the instruction manual after 1000 hours on her, I just adjust to her moods ..maybe she's going thru the change:rofl:.. I hunt in Pro Zero and she always comes on in Standard Mode Custom:shrug:....I've never customized any setting for her, I guess she did......BUT the Iron Audio is ON and its got the first 20 of Iron discriminated out, and turned wide up (8 bars) on sensitivity...........LOL...if you hold the button and put her back into factory reset she comes on with the iron audio off, in Standard Coin, 35 disc. ....I know she's not quite "right"........but she still hunts like there is no tomorrow.......she don't know it yet but there's a trip to Garland for the upgrade and a lobotomy in her future.........

Yes the earlier ones have a memory retention problem...they have resolved it now....Some some sort of software glitch.....send it in for the upgrades and you will get it taken care of and the warranty will start over for 2 more year's....also will get the new seals to keep from leaking...new cam lock's....new upper shaft....

I had 3 of them doing what your's is doing...I have a new upgraded one now and it's perfect so far!

[size=large]was just reading the owners manual. couldn't find where it said what happens to pro after switched off. the book does say that std and pro mode settings are not saved when you switch the machine off. so i'm presuming the default settings are in std mode and thats what you get when you switch on. on page 14 it does say that the custom settings you put in are saved when you switch off.
