att. dahut....Here's A Video For You (if you already haven't seen it)

Hey, thanks John! I haven't seen it; all I've got is the online guide. I appreciate you sending that on!

I got the CXIII yesterday. It seems it is going to have to go back to Garrett, as it has a problem: it wont turn on.
Two new sets of different brand batteries had no effect. I knew that going in and that's the reason why I got it for the equivalent of a dinner out.
Once Charles and Company have a go at it, I reckon I'm still way out ahead.

So we'll pack 'er back up tomorrow and send it back.

When I first saw your post, John, I was at work. I watched it and thought, "Oh, how cool. John is the man!"

But, the sods who employ me and my prodigious technical skills have removed the sound from our computers - probably so we wont enjoy watching YouTube vids while on the job. So, I didn't actually hear it until just now.

What were they thinkin' with that soundtrack? I guess it was considered pretty hot stuff by the marketing department. I was, like, "Who came up with that stuff?!" I litened to it 2 times, just to make sure all my recent night shifts haven't gotten to me.

Make no mistake, John - you are still The Man. But that soundtrack is too, too, retro!

You mean the same technical writers who put together some of their manuals created the sound track? I've considered offering my services for writing their manuals. :)

Bill
