Hello Steve,
I hope you don't mind me posting this question here. The reason is I recall you once using the GP3500 and hunting the beaches.
My question is do you feel the 14" Mono style of coil is optimum (deepest seeking) in searching for coin/ring sized objects on mineral free beaches? I also remember reading that Eric Foster thought that an 11" coil was about the best size for this type of hunting.
I'd love to hear what settings you used on the 3500 or if you can point me to an archived response somewhere.
Thanks and much appreciated,
Tony,
Perth, Australia
PS......I have just found the article on "detector prospector". Sounds like the 11" is a bit too sensitive to the smaller trash.
Any other tips and tricks?
