Hello all! started to use audio 1 on my explorer xs, found that its helps me to hunt in iron better then Normal. anybody use audio 1,2,3, where? and how its helps to detect in different situation?? thanks, Stasys

When I had my XS Explorer, I really took a shine to using audio 2. I found that it gave a really good 3D type of sound on targets. If the ground had a lot of targets, then it got a little dizzy for me, but I really liked it. My poor XS died a few months back but I replaced it with an SE. I've played with the same set up from time to time, but I've just noticed how rubbish targets like screw caps, often give a lowing tone as they pass out of the field as opposed to a coin that will normally hold the same pitch, or on occasion give a single lower tone but no more. (Our Aussie $1 and $2 coins are in screw cap range.)
Those audio tones are great to have on the Explorer and are one of the significant reasons I didn't update to the Safari.
I though you might have had a couple of more responses to this post. It's an interesting side of the Explorers.
Mick Evans.
