Aurora Aqua Pulse hand-sized underwater detector?

Skillet

New member
Has anyone tried one of these units yet? Seen a review?

I like snorkeling in swimming holes and it looks like an interesting (if pricey) unit. Used a Vibra-Tector for awhile, but it had very little depth.

$%elly-co has these in their catalog.

Any info will be greatly appreciated!

I sent an email to the company regarding pricing and any info they could give me. I am still awaiting a reply which I guess will never come, it's been over a month. My point is this, I was seriously contemplating buying a unit for confined space dives, however after such poor customer service I would rather re configure my current unit than pay them a cent. Congratulations, you've lost one sale and probably quite a few more due to your lack of customer service.:veryangry:

Hey Skillet,

I accidently sent you a pm. I have been trying to get some feedback on the Aqua Pulse. Its made in England. Anyone used it. You can check out the website at Aquapulse.com The U.S. dealer is in the Keys. magman12@terranova.net

We all visualize doing a "James Bond" type operation with them. Truth be told, unless you're rubbing your nose on it, you won't see the lights in the murky waters of the midwest, plus its doing good to pick up a quarter at two inches. Thumbs down on this one.
HOWEVER.......
I am wondering about one of those security wands? Garrett makes some, and it might be possible to waterproof one, at least for ( dare I say it), off limits swimming areas! Food for thought.
