It been a long while since I've posted anything on this forum, probably because I don't get as much time to get out with the Etrac as I would like.
Anyway finally got out for the day and went to a new location and boy did I have some fun. In fact my best day ever so just had to share the excitement with everyone on this forum.
Found over seventy coins in about 5 hours, most currently in circulation and worth about $50. Most interesting find was a 50 cent piece which came in spot on 12 - 27 but the surprising thing was that it was sitting on top of a $1 coin which was sitting on top of a 20 cent piece. Also interesting was that I found twice as many $2 coins as $1, not that I'm complaining.
Very little trash around, about 75% of targets were coins. Ended up leaving a lot of the smaller stuff in the ground as the 1, 2 and 5 cent coins were everywhere. Can't wait to go back as there's a lot more ground to go over.
