AUTODETECTION-TO ERIC AND ALLS

The coil's detector material is copper or other metal. This is my question: Is possible the autodetection of the coil, specially in pulse induction machines? If the answer is yes, this phenomenon maybe causes distortion.

Hi Esteban,
This can happen, but the wire is chosen so that the eddy current from the wire is much faster than the fastest decay for an object to be detected. Stranded wire is better than solid, with Litz wire being best of all. However, I have not found the need to use Litz for treasure hunting PI's.
Eric.
