Avalon NJ Finds with the Sand Shark/Vaquero

Just got back from the beach in Avalon, NJ. Didn't do to bad for just a few hours in the morning each day. I was there for 4 days. I used my Vaquero for the dry sand and the Sand Shark for wet sand/surf. I found the fishing reel in about 6 inches down in the surf. Had a great time and the Tesoro's performed wonderfully as usual. Oh and no, the ring isn't real, just junk.
 
Nice job! Those finds tell you that you're definately in the right spot.
 
Looks like a fun day to me, nice ring too. Any day I find a ring of any sort I'm a happy camper. Congrats!
 
Thanks guys, yeah it was a blast! I couldn't go out as far as I'd like in the surf as there was some bad rip currents because of the hurricanes. We'd go to the beach during the day and I'd scope out where everyone was then I'd hunt those areas the next morning. Can't wait to go back!
 
Maybe next time you'll get some of that yellow stuff. Good to be at the beach anyway and a detector just makes it even better.
