Up with the chickens ...off to the beach...it was hhhhhhhhottttttttt! ..but there was a refreshing breeze so it was not tooooooo bad.

Here's what I found..

thanks for looking

Is the ring brass or copper? The ear ring is a sailors crucifix. I have an awesome pendant I found made of silver that is similar. It was one of my first nice jewelry finds. Congrats!

Not sure...but I think it is a mix of both..probably more brass as it shined up pretty good.

Thanks for the info re: the earring...it is unique.Never saw one like it...I think it is some kind of brass also.

Many of them brass or copper rings are quite old! I have several of them and most date to the late 1800's. Gold was too expensive for most back then. Many of them were gold plated.

Very nice. Glad your still finding the silver. I just wish it was in better shape!!! But we water people really can't complain!!

Good going, Lorraine, on more silver and I like the Mariner's Cross also! I've never seen one before! You really find unique things under those rocks, just don't find a snake unless it is made of silver or gold!

God Bless!
