"TRESPASS",with Nicholas Cage,and Nicole Kidman......................Centers on these burglars breaking into these rich folk's home,for diamonds the guy deals in.Violence,drug use;sexual content;the worst language.....murder,throughout.I made the mistake of sitting through it,with that woman I know,who got it pay per view on cable.LOTS of people have to watch these crime shows;that go into detail how so-and-so was killed,in detail;and how they catch whoever done it.My sister and her husband watch all of them;including wrestling 3-4 nites a week.WHT do people like to see people getting killed in all kinds of ways,or oversize cretins hitting each other??Give me the old 30s-60 movies,the older situation comedies,3 stooges,Laurel and Hardy.............HEY!!!-My sister and her husband are headed to Oregon for 3 weeks this Saturday-AND,the remote for the TV will be in MY hands.HISTORY CHANNEL,HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

has to be mostly the older ones......The 50's and 60's are nice in color and shows women wearting beautful clothes and dressed decently! Even like the older black and whites with a good story line...but just don't care for moves in general any more! I would have walked away and done something else even if it is your sister's home! I have to say that we very rarely watch a movie that is inappropriate for watching as a family. We made a pact years ago to not watch anything R-rated and I couldn't tell you the last time we watched anything rated PG-13. The language, violence and partial nudity is disgusting and distracting at best. Movies with adult themes tend to offend me and if you aren't enjoying the movie, why watch? We watch a lot of Hallmark movies and hit up the Christian bookstore when they have 5 dollar sales on DVD's. There are just too many other options out there to watch filth...we are called to be different and as Christians, we SHOULD feel convicted about watching such movies.

I can't hardly watch broadcast TV (especially some of the commercials) much less cable or something in a theater! Imagine being away from mainland culture and entertainment for 10 years or so and then returning. We were shocked and have stayed that way.....G rated to a very rare PG for us on our DVD in the boat.
