Babe Ruth Ring...

My hunting partner found this ring tonight, it says 60 Babe Homers! Any info would be appriciated!

I can't say with certainty but it looks like something from the old Cracker Jack or possibly an old cereal gift of some type. Curiosity got to me on the ring and did a quick Internet check. I found the ring to have been a gift from Muffets Whole Wheat Biscuits in 1934 by sending in a coupon and box panels, not sure how many were required. It was a successful advertising campaign. The ring was actually plated I believe. Hope this helps if not something else could be found on it somewhere I'm sure.

I have a Rings Book and it books it in at $150-$300. The book was printed in 1995 so I am sure the price has gone up a bit. It sure is fun digging those old kids rings and some of them are worth quite a bit of money. Good Luck and HH Jack.
