Its been a bad month.Medical problems with my 15yo son (and sometime hunting partner) have taken their toll. I hope next month is better........
Got out last night to a 1600's fort location that we have worked over well, so I thought. Using TTF with the X-8 and c r e e p i n g along VERY slowly, maybe 4-5 seconds right to left showed me that there is still treasure among the debris.
Got the key, the best and oldest (judging by the look of it) one I have found, maybe used at the fort? It came up as a quarter at about 4 inches. Second was the hollow button, some gilding still hanging on, at around 6 inches. And last find, I'm guessing its some kind of priming cap (?) with "US" stamped on the end, it screamed at me at 7 inches. Here are the pictures:

Glad to see you back. Very nice finds, thanks for sharing the pictures. I pray everything gets back to 1000% with your son's health!!

The x-8 coil is awesome! It's my favorite all around coil for my E-trac. It seems to always pull silver out of my sites that I pounded with the pro coil and the x-5. Great finds!
