G'day

Yesterday morning (Thursday) early I revisited the park where I scored my new record tally of $258. on Tuesday.
Another 2x detectorists were there swinging away....the event was well publicised and known.
I think I had an advantage because I knew where all the stalls and tents etc had been....beer tents, the stages , the merchandise stalls for the bands
They have gone and its all just lawns now
Anyhow in 3.5 hrs I took $132.50 again with the Xt70 and 15" WOT
Again they were either sunbakers or shallow in the thatch.
Happy with my weeks detecting so far

fantastic result. i tried a similar situation yesterday on a 3 day festival site and could not beleive i didnt find anything. must have been done by others.

Almost $400 in two hunts. You've got to be happy with that. Great result.

it beats my recent record of 120 pounds equiv 180 dollars in 5 hrs from virgin tot lot...by a mile

That's just awesome. Just got back from Sydney. Tried to line up a couple of similar sites, but no joy. beaten to them.
Congrats on a great couple of hunts. I'm jealous.
