Took my wife and two daughters to FL. Drove to TN the first night and visited with my sister on-law. Next it was down to GA to visit a relic hunting buddy of mine. Then to Daytona Beach the 3rd day. Here is what was waiting for us on our ocean view room. A beautiful rainbow over some big waves!

A Christian friend from TX who I know from another forum was going to be south of Daytona while I was there so he drove up to meet with me the next morning. We hunted the beach for 4 hours. The tide was high and the surf was big and rough so we had to be careful. I did manage a men's wedding band.
Here is a pic of Chris and I. That day was the first time we met face to face. What a blessing. I was hoping to see Seeker from Columbus ( Now in FL )
But it did not work out. Maybe next time Chuck. Also a pic of the ring I found.

Was hoping to go parasailing while there but they would not go up due to the wind.
The next 4 days found us in Orlando. We stayed at a nice villa, went to Disney World, Epcot, and Downtown Disney. It was Grace's 10th birthday while we were there. I had made Grace a shirt that said Birthday girl with a Mickey outline below it. Shelby wanted one so she had me make one that said I'm just the big sister! There was also plenty of writting on the back. Here are mom and the girls waiting to head over to the magic Kingdom.

At Downtown Disney we seen some very cool things built from Lego's. Some were over 15' tall and over 50' long!
You know us detectorists, when I seen this pirate, I had Grace pose with him. I told her to say AAARRRRRGGG!!!!

I seen this plane in the sky near a tethered ballon. It was speling something. Most of the letters had distotred by the time I seen it. The girls kept an eye on it as we drove and they seen it spell Thank You Jesus.

I took over 300 pics and wish I could share them all. Some video too! We left FL and drove all the way up to near Chatanooga TN and spent the night.
Then hit it hard the next day and stopped in northern IN and visited with my oldest son and daughter in-law for the night at the Christian camp they work at.
The last day we had less than two hours to drive and made it home safe. Thank you Lord for a blessed vacation.

When people ask me what I do in my 'retirement' (tired all over again), I tell them I may go find a job so I can get some rest.
