Back home & broke

We spent the last 10 days down in Louisiana visiting the family. Got home last night on Amtrak - good ride, great food on board. Dug about 200 coins there, they dont wear much jewelry to lose. Good to be home.

Here's the train we took -

And here's my grandson trying out the Shadow X2 machine. He went right under the swings - a natural ! steve in so az

Glad you and Nancy had a good visit with your son and family! Riding the train must have been a nice relaxing way of enjoying the scenery and not having to drive! It was called riding the rails back years ago! I have to say I haven't been on one either! Traveled by car and/or bus and one flight on an airplane from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to St. Louis once! Not a pleasanct trip as my mother had passed away suddenly from a heart-attack! Wish I could afford it and was able to travel again, but all things sometimes have to come to an end with life continuing on in other ways! Yep, the grandson is a chip off grandpa's old block! :) God Bless! Betty

Glad you had a good time. I know it's always nice to get back home!!! I've done the Amtrak thing a few times and usually enjoyed it.
