Back in Florida

Jerry and I had a safe trip to Fla. He will drive my car back up north and I'll take the van. While I was in ILL for a few days I got to hunt some private property with a friend. I got a 1903-O Barber half in good shape, a 1926 Standing Lib quarter with a nice full date, and a 1955-D Roosie along with a few Wheaties. While at Jerry's we hunted a site where a farm house used to be. I got a 1920 Merc and a 1918-D standing lib quarter. Date is almost gone but you can make it out. We met up with Mike in Mi and a couple of his friends and hunted a couple of places. Didn't find much there but it sure was good to see him and again and we had a great time as usual. I'll be heading out Friday or Saturday for the north to drop the van off at Jerry's and pick up my car. Will hang around there for a few days and may get to hook up with Mike again for another hunt. After that will head for ILL and spend a few days there and then it's of to the Western lands. Hope all are doing well and finally getting some weather good enough to get out and find some goodies.

A big congratulations. I still have not found a barber. But then again I have relic hunted now for about 6 months straight.

I enjoyed hunting with you Mike. I had great hopes for the old toboggan run to produce something of a keeper.
It was nice to meet and hunt with you and Jerry.
I get to see Mike and Eric every month at club and will no doubt do more hunting with them. Hope you will join us again soon.
