Back On Safari....

Well, I have a new one on the way. This will be my 3rd try on one. I traded a Etrac for this one!!! I just can't go with all of the different settings of the Safari's big brothers. I've had a Explorer II also at one time and did not like it either. I just came to the fact that I'm more of a tone hunter and not a screen watcher, which the Safari is kinda like a Soverign with a screen anyways. I am a relic hunter and am not concerned really about coins, althou I do run across a few in the field. I have looked at TomH and ngrelics posts on the Safari and I'm looking forward to hunting with it again. I need to get a copy of Andy's book so I can remember how to cross-save again. Got a copy of his Exp & Etrac book I need to get rid of thou. My main machine has been the Xterra 70 for 5 years now and I'm really looking to compair the two...........MO

Hope the posts from a couple of years ago help. I was just thinking yesterday how the xterra 50 then the Safari opened up a whole new world of relic hunting for me. I traded the Safari for an Explorer SE, good for coins but not as good as the Safari for relics(JMHO). Now using the F75 LTD, just had to try one, so far so good. Would like to get my hands on a Safari again, it is great in the North Ga. dirt.

Good Hunting,
Barry
