Back to the fields........

Went back to the freshly cut field yesterday. It's not much of a field. It's more like 5 acres of cut brush. Starting close to the road and working for about 3 hours I found 1 tombac button near the road. And no Junk at all. It was tough going. I noticed a semi flat spot in the middle of this sloping field. It is about 1500 sqft. in size. If I were going to hang here that would be the spot. After a few minutes in this new spot I found a couple of tombacs and then a 1803 LC, a few more tombacs and then another Draped LC no date.
I have a couple of questions for the LC people. The no date LC (bottom photo) is pretty thick, and I was surprised it lacked much detail. It appears to be a bad strike or something. If you notice the in side reeded edge is flattened on the edge of the coin. The coin doesn't seem so round. The other coin, 1803 (top) is not aligned correctly. The zero in 1803 is opposite the "O" in OF on the reverse, instead of being opposite the "E" in states.
Any ideas? Sorry this took so long................Thanks Rich
