Back to the iron patch with the 5" on the Relic

Hunting partner picked up the Nokta Relic same time I did so we hit the patch here at the house. While hunting Friday evening with the 10x5.5, I wanted to try the 5" in the same area.

We both started in Di3 but it was funny that after the hunt we had both chosen almost the same settings. Di2, Sen 44, IDM 0, IV 5, TB (showing 20 when I turned on the unit but thought we had that set up higher...will have to get with him to see what this was set on for us) , IM 0. Both of us was within a few of each other when it came to Sen and tone break.

Slowly working the thickest area we was able to pull in more finds, he pulled in a sweet button and I came out with two coins (1920 wheat, mem cent), Buck n ball and a shot pistol bullet and a few more nonF. Yes we were tricked by flat rusty tin and larger flat iron but to pull the finds we did was a shocker for this spot. For the reason we wanted this unit I am really liking what we are seing.

That's a keeper, congrats

Lol fun unit to swing in the thick stuff with the small coil Cedar.

Will be swinging the stock coil tomorrow in a open area if the rain pulls out. Area has been hit by many others in the past so interested in what it will produce along with the 5x10 in the wood line.
