Today Doug and I went back to the old farm where we had previously found Large Cents, Two Cent piece, Half Cent and Indian Head. It was a beautiful day, and we started out with a bang in the first five minutes there I had a nice signal 14-45 14-46 reading 7" I cut my plug and and found my oldest coin ever as of yet....pardon to Tim for stealing his line, it was an 1820 Large Cent! A bit later Doug called me over and he too dug a Largie an 1830 or maybe 1835 I then got a 1910 wheatie and later Doug got a wheatie. We hit the place hard and not anything else of consequence turned up we plan on going back for the third time after we can get a good soaking rain. The owner is cutting the corn now and so we have a field to hunt as well.
