I got a miss-match of finds in my low mineralized soil today. I ran the Vortex at zero disc, 25K and dug most signals above 60. Depending on the type of oxide on silver coins (oxidized silver under conifer trees read different then silver coins found und coniferous trees) and their depth they can read different on the numeric scale. At least lats been my experience with amm my 40+ years of detecting. Has anyone else ever noticed the difference?
I dug up an old phone piece. Someone had thrown it into a fire and it got partially distroyed. The electronic components were still intact, as it sounded off my detector.
I got a token a 1959 silver dime and a bullet, larger then a 22. I posted it with a penny for sizing.
And a great day at the river a couple of days using my "WEDGY" highbanker. I got at least a gram of gold. One gram of 24K gold at todays spot price is worth 118.44 USD. Not a bad day for a retired feller.
