Back Yard Goldmine - Marcasite Ring

New member
Either Im lucky or its the EX2? - got to be the EX2!!!

Was so involed with the other lake I forgot about ours.
This park is 50 yards from the house.
You know my wife and I hit all the parks in our community with the Garrett GTA550X more a dozen times. Usally after every busy weekend.
But, I was bored and decided to take the EX2 over to the lodge.
After 15 Min. I found this Marcasite Ring in silver.
Then another silver ring and $4.00 something in change - How could there still be change left, I've Been over this beach with the Garrett so many times.
Just think, all this in a 30 x 30 yard section of the beach.
The ring was next to a beer cap. I bought my EX2 in Jan. and Wouldn't sell it at any price.
I am truley amazed at how well the EX2 performs with 14"EQ2pro.
I know for a fact Ive been over this beach at least 3 times this year.
I took of a couple pictures with my camera phone.
You can see how much beach I still have left.
Remember there is twenty one parks in here. 10 are on the water.
And get this no one detects here, :shrug:they all have that puzzled look!!:shrug:They just dont get it.

I,m Going to have to go over all the parks again!!:detecting:

Hope your luck is as good as mine!!
HH Mrchile

Marchile,
Congratulations once again. It is amazing how well you're doing. It kind of makes you think how it was on the beaches when metal detecting first started! I'm glad to see that those golden days aren't over yet! Keep it up.

Very nice finds again I see. No wonder you are finding so much stuff. You truly are living in paradise!

They sell license plates frames here that read:
C____L___ A Bit of Paridise.
- My middle name is Mr Vacation.

Thanks
