OK Shamble I apologise and you win a very good brow beating, once again.
Being concerned and curious of your dilemma made me look for your earlier posts.
It does not matter much what you own or what you have owned, but that you are happy with what you own at the present moment. You have two very good and capable machines and the 250 is no slouch.
I saw a post you made in another brand forum, asking the same question here and somewhere you said you found the ML necessary in highly mineralized soil. I know of no condition in high (upper 80's) to low (salt water, like next to zero) that the F75 cannot handle. I know the geology of the Midwest and beside toxic wastes dumps, klinkers are it for high mineralization (unless you live in Newberry MI). I shoveled them there when I was a kid. That's why I said BS.
( yes, I worked on a steam railroad in the Midwest and did everything but pull the throttle)
Did you know the Atlantic is saltier than the Pacific? Lewis and Clark didn't, and boy did that mess with them. Did it make them angry? Yes. And what did they do? They killed each other to eat their livers.
No,.. afraid not, You gotta be tough to live out West. And they were.
Get over your anger. You came to a decision and moved forward. Why look back? Your anger does not say you are having fun. Well pal, it's been going around, and this is not a place for unhappy campers. Can we just enjoy the good of the hobby and a small escape from all the anger in the world? This is a smiley face place.
Sorry if I took it wrong, but you are angry and you sound like you want everyone to pay attention to your pain. Why do you fish for sympathisers? We are hobbyists, and want to enjoy a little fun together sharing ideas and insights and helping each other out. A few laughs and a pat on the back or an attaboy. We own what we like and we like what we own. All for recreation.
So how 'bout we bury the hatchet, build some civility instead of division and enjoy a recreational hobby for the smile and fun of it. If you want to have fun, go to a beach in the summer and when the kids come around make them a deal that each get to recover a target in the sand. X marks the spot for buried Treasure! I promise them each a coin of their own. Those kids are the happiest kids you will see except for the ungrateful. Can't help them if it is not fun for them, and they usually get the biggest coin! Being happy is a conscience decision. Be happy.
Hey, I've had some troubles with equipment and dealers that no matter what they ever did in sales were likely turds. I wanted to enjoy a hobby and not feel bad about it, even if the previous two machines to the F75 involved dealer scams. Why should I allow all that to let the air out of my tires in having and being fun? The smiley face forums are not the place for any of it. As poo-poo happens deal with it and move on. There is not a sports team worth their salt that does not know the value of shaking it off and moving ahead. You either try to score or you quit.
You have a three machines of your choice. Enjoy the hobby and have fun. Share your finds, insights, victories and firsts. Tell how you handled a challenging area or found the deep targets nobody else did. Most valuable find, most interesting hunt, best fun. If something is a question, ask it, even if the answers are opinions of others, but don't try to mine for unhappy people because you hold on to old issues. Let it go. Come to the happy forum place and be happy.
If you make a statement, don't expect everyone to carry the same tune. It is OK here to be an individual, as long as you are a happy individual. Dump your garbage on your neighbor's front yard and see how long that lasts. How have you helped anyone in pointing a bloody finger at Fisher? When you told Paul to get a ML, I thought you were another ML shill. Turns out you and Paul had The same conversation months ago. Paul just told me in a PM that he got a ML. He quoted a KellyCo employee that agrees with what
you say is bad about F75's. I do not like that. If ML is hammering on it's dealers to push their product, then that is why dealers are dropping ML like a hot rock. So sad, Too bad, They are eating their own tail, faster and faster. I think it's great myself. Kind of like Moores Law as a business model. Their next product may be the Deep 6.
I do not understand what game that is with Paul, but it does not belong here. Since he did not buy your models,... do you see the only view he had was your red ***? Paul is entitled to be happy.
Hard times are here and it's time to protect the simple pleasures we all enjoy.
Put that into a marketing model!
Be happy!
