Rough week, I received a letter regarding my detecting permit, the permit request is on hold and the Archaeological department wants to see my finds from 2004. No problem, I

Does the archaeological people have the the right to demand you show them your finds or is it the Bavarian law?Usually they are appointees and not law makers and they really do not have the authoity to do that. That happens in the U.S. a lot and it can be straightened out.Always try to get the written law from the law makers.Let me know how you make out.

Yes, it's the law and was part of the agreement when applying for the permit. I should have sent them some finds throughout the year, lesson learned. HH, Mike
