Banner day with the F75 SE

I have a old home site built in 1837 I've been digging pits and pullin out lots of iron, and not many non-ferrous targets. Decided to put the 11'' coil on and move aways from the house to escape the iron and take a break from the pit.

Ended up finding a 44' Merc., 11'D Barber dime, 1897 V nickel, 4 Indian pennies: 86', 96', 02' and 05. Also 5 Wheats: 17s, (2) 19s', 20', and a 19??

All coins found between 5-8" deep. Still was alot of iron around and had id'ed targets alot lower.

Also a 1928 rabies vaccination tag and a old flat button from the 1820-30's (Keith?)

Going back soon before the bugs start getting too bad, but this time going to try the DEUS in the HEAVY iron.

Way to go! That must of been fun. How far was that from the cellar hole? Was the site occupied a long time? Those coins would seem a bit younger than the site- yea maybe you ll get to the older stuff after you clean away those pesky coins on top. (ha, ha). Sometimes you gotta find that spot where they spent time outside, or where the kids played or where the foot traffic was. I try and visualized that when Im at a site. Keep us posted.
