Barber Day

Went out this morning for a one hour hunt. Went to an old house next door to the car dealer where I bought the Pickup and Taurus last year. The dealer owns the house and has given me permission to hunt anytime I want. Found a 1903 Barber Quarter, a 1991 Washington, some pre 1982 memorials, and one Rosie from 1991. Also found a small Marx diecast firetruck, and a copper lipstick tube with some lipstick still in it. It is engraved with Max Factor, Hollywood on the top. Will post pics when I get home from work tonight.

Good hunt. I have never found a barber yet , found a seated but never a barber.

Mike, that is my first Barber quarter. I found that 1908 Barber dime last year out at our city park. The quarter was only about 3 or 4 inches deep. The soil at this house is really, really fine. Hit it last year with the ACE, so today I took the Teknetics out. Going back tomorrow to start regridding the property and check it over real good. Will probably hit it with the ACE with the 9x12 coil later on.
