Back to the pig farm today. Its seems easier to separate targets when it is wet and we have been getting lots of rain.
Got a 50 cent reading in between several other signals using very short swings. Rolled the plug over and there it was, bottom of the hole, looking right at me. 1897-s 2007 book says $150 in good condition.
Also found 8 wheats, oldest 1910,,, and a porcelain figure(says Japan on the bottom)

Great finds . Congrats !

I would be over a Barber half. Too bad it is barely in About Good condition.
I wouldn't be surprised if the figurine beats the coin for value. Some of that stuff is really crazy.

I agree, too bad this coin is so worn. Cant read any of the ledger on the back, reeded edge is almost gone.

I'm not sure what the figure is made out of. Just that it is not plastic. Don't let the mind wander, that is a golf club.

WTG flash sweet find!!

Alright!:super:Congrats on the great finds!:cheers:Man, what a sweet spot!:please:Happy Hunting!:)

Thanks everybody,
I wanted to say, this is my first Barber Half. (I stated b4 that some were found at this site, that is true, but they wasnt found by me ,until now:clap:)
Its odd that this is my first, I have never found a ben franklin half either.Seems they would come b4 the flying eagle and the 1804 half penny I found years ago.(at different places though)
Guess that is what makes this hobby so interesting. You just never know what your gona find.

Its a beatiful thing to see something like that staring at you from the dirt, the first glimpse is priceless. There's more out there.
Good Luck

Great find! this hobby is like opening gifts on Christmas, most the time you don't know what your get.:clapping:
