Barbers and a button today.

I've been detecting now for a year and a half and have been struggling to pull a silver quarter (getting teased by '65s) and have been wanting to get a Barber dime. Today was the day, I found a 1893 quarter and dime today. Also got a nice Great Seal button.

Today was your day, congratulations, hope there will many more silvers under your coil, thanks for sharing

Very nice old silver WTG!!!!

Nice finds! I've been hunting about as long and those still elude me. I feel your frustration with the '65s too. If all that I found were silvers I would have paid for my detector twice over! Well done!

And how cool is it that both your first Barbers are the same date. Congrats You never forget your first old silver. Hunter

Congratulations on finding those beautiful old barburs! I've been detecting about as long as you, but my oldest silver is a 1916 (s darn) mercury dime. Can't wait to find older silver coins like your barburs, or even younger ones like a Walking liberty! Good job! I'd go back and pound that area from every direction now. HH
