From the land of the Bluenose..it happened! I never in this lifetime thought it would. But it did. Turned my back on Garrett I did...stabbed in the back while he was at the Green Machine Hospital getting fixed up. In 30 years at this foolishnesss I had never done it before..I swung a machine other then the Garrett and a White's Prisom V at that. Felt like a newbie in a parade with all the sounds the machine made but did find it light, balanced with good pinpointing.
Bardman and I did the dew at Gatz Brook School while dodging golf balls from some broad broad swinging a pitching wedge. Man did she make a mess.....and her swing wasn't much better. Anyway the ground was still frozen in places but did manage 16 coins before we adjourned to Tim's for a hot coffee and a chance to better out luck with "roll up the rim to win." Fat chance. Showed the Bardman a few other spots and then we froze our *&&*&%$# off as the weather changed without notice. Sorry Bardman for dirting your new machine me son. Thanks for the outing...with all the bad news around here in the past two weeks a dig in the concrete would have been a relief!
