General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Barely used Fisher F-5

I need to sell my barely used Fisher F-5.
Our 7 week old grandson passed away suddenly about 2 weeks ago and we are buried in funeral expenses. Since I have been unemployed for 7 months we did not have the money to help my daughter pay for this. So I am selling off anything I have that has any value.
I need this to go desperately. I am flying home from Phoenix back to NH tonight and can get some pics for you.
At this point...best reasonable offer....I don't have a choice...but don't insult me either.

Sorry to hear about your loss. We lost a grandson 4yrs ago. We are praying for you and your family. Read 1st Corinthians 10 vs.13.

Sent him some help early this morning silverman, received a nice email back.
I know it's hard for some of the USA members in these times so I'm willing to help and had some extra money sitting in my paypal account.
Even a bit here and there helps Scott out greatly.

He was a joy to his grandpa's heart.
We are just trying to raise enough money for a headstone and to pay rent this month. The funeral and associated costs were over 6k and we had just about that much left. Since I have a few things like the F5 that aren't being used now I am selling things off.
The rest is photo equipment I have but did not really need. Toys don't mean much now. Some day they will but not for months.
We brought my daughter and son in law to be back with us to Maine from Phoenix. Her baby had a seizure in her house in their bedroom and was basically brain dead before the paramedics arrived. They could not face life in tha apartment.......obviously.
So now we have 5 adults in a 2 bedroom apartment.....but I have my little girl back home and a cramped apartment seems trivial now. Her fiance is a wonderful young man and I love the man as my own son.
They will now spend this year picking up the pieces of their broken lifes with our help...and even a little help from the forums...and more so from our church.
This has left all of us broke...both financially and emotionally but...we will survive just as anyone else who has gone through this knows. You may not think the sun will ever shine again in your life but it will. Although you will never be the same again after the loss of a child. It changes your life forever.

I know what you and your family are going through. I lost my 4 year old nephew right before this Christmas. My sister is also having a hard time going back home to live in her house, there is just too many memories there. You are not alone, you cant ever imagine that that can happen to you. Hopefully everything will get better with time. You and your family are in my prayers.
