my battery charger and my three charging lines got separated and now I am not sure that I have the right charger to plug into the wall? I have attached two pictures of the charger that I presume is the correct charger. I just don't want to use the wrong charger and harm the detector. If anyone can verify that this looks like the correct charge it would be appreciated.

battery charger

unfortunately both the product manual and book by Andy Sabich show the European version of the charger, which is way different that the American version. If anyone can help me it sure would be appreciated as I would like to charge it up and go out tomorrow and take advantage of the good weather. thanks
You can shorten the charging time, and possibly battery life.. but that is about it.. there are a couple of caveats though..

Way back in 2007, the USB Implementers Forum released the Battery Charging Specification, which standardized faster ways of charging USB devices, either by pumping more amps through your PC’s USB ports, or by using a wall charger. Shortly thereafter, USB devices that implemented this spec started to arrive."
